Celebi to be Distributed in the US

Pokemon fans rejoice as news comes in that there is an upcoming Pokemon event, and it’s none other than Celebi! This Celebi will be distributed at Gamestops around the United States from February 27, 2011 to March 7, 2011. The Grass and Psychic legendary Pokemon originating from the Johto region can be used for two in-game events. The first is for the most recently released Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver Versions, where you will travel time to find more about your Rival and his suprising connections with Team Rocket. The second is for the upcoming Pokemon Black and White Versions, where Celebi can be taken to the Gamefreak Headquarters located in Castella City and lead to the obtaining of Zorua, the Pre-Evolution of Zoroark. Its release will most likely have to do with the release of the 13th Pokemon movie in the United States, “Zoroark and the Master of Illusions”, which will be premiered on Cartoon Network in the US on February 5, 2011.

Pokemon B/W Release Reveal

Nintendo has released a press release (found at the bottom of the article), revealing the release date of the upcoming Pokemon games, titled Pokemon Black and Pokemon White. The two games are scheduled for a release on March 6, 2011. The games will take place in the Unova region with over 150 brand new Pokemon. This press release also revealed that the Japanese names of Black City and White Forest will keep their names in the U.S. games.

The official website has also revealed some of the names set for the games. They are:

• Minccino (Chillarmy in Japanese),
• Gigalith (Gigiath in Japanese),
• Sandile (Meguroco in Japanese),
• Blitzle (Shimama in Japanese),
• Pidove (Mamepato in Japanese),
• Klink (Gear in Japanese), and
• Darmanitan (Hihidaruma in Japanese)
• Munna keeps its name

Several abilities were given names. They are:

• Sheer Force (Encourage in Japanese),
• Moxie (Overconfidence in Japanese), and
• Big Pecks (Pigeon Heart in Japanese)

Several moves were given names. They are:

• Wild Charge (Wild Bolt in Japanese),
• Tail Slap (Sweep Slap in Japanese),

It also confirms that Professor Araragi is now Professor Juniper and Huin City is now Castelia City.

Japanese Pokemon Names Translated

December 24, 2010:
The names of 3 more Pokemon have been revealed. Several retailers have received the display boxes for the upcoming Pokemon Black and White games. The three elemental monkey’s US names have been revealed. The grass monkey, previouslyknown as Yanappu, is now known as Pansage. The fire monkey, previously known as Baoppu, is now known as Pansear. The water monkey, previously known Hiyappu, is now known as Panpour. The picture also reveals that N and Team Plasma will be keeping their names.

Anime Pikachu to be Distributed in the U.S.

December 24, 2010:

Anyone in the United States will be happy to know that Toys ‘R’ Us will be having an event for Ash Ketchum’s Pikachu. The special Pikachu inspired by the anime star will be distributed on Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver, and it will run from January 30, 2011 to February 5, 2011. This Pikachu was earlier released in Japan exclusively. I have no knowledge if they will distribute this Pikachu in European countries.

Welcome to my WordPress. I will bring you the latest news involving Nintendo products, including Wii, DS, and soon the 3DS. My inspiration comes from the writers from their website blog: PhantoMarauder, CodeZTM, GrimsChild, Everlong, Pommer299, Psychotaku, and Oculin. I do ask that you do not give negative criticism because I am new to this. I appreciate it if you can give me ideas that will improve my writing, bringing news, etc. I will update every other day of the week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I may update the blog on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays if I have the time.
